The real estate market is growing rapidly on the Pacific Coast, and there is no better example of this than the Jaco area in the centar Pacific.The booming prosperity here has seen controversy, mainly from critics who see its development as unregulated. Nevertheless, it is undeniable that central Pacific has much to offer the current and future real estate market. |

New Marina in Quepos promises 3,000 jobs |

The project will be the largest and most modern of the kind in Central America. Investors offer jobs, training, and environmental protection. The project called Marina Pez Vela, being built in Quepos, will dock up to 300 vessels up to 61 meters (200 ft) long, will create 3,000 jobs, and will promote technical education and the protection of the environment. |

Central Bank Points To First Quarter in Puntarenas and Guanacaste Foreign investment in Costa Rica’s real estate industry has nearly tripled in the past 12 months, according to Costa Rica’s Central Bank. By the bank’s estimate, mostly US investors and homebuyers bought at least $192 million worth of property in the first three months of this year, largely in the provinces of Guanacaste and Puntarenas. That compares to $70 million during the same period in 2006. |
